Smoked Ribs

My husband and I had awesome dinner last night courtesy of our good friend Xavier who gave us his own version of smoked ribs. Actually, it was his first time to smoked some ribs because his girlfriend Crystal gifted him a brand new smoker for Valentine's Day. Of course, I was really happy because I don't have to cook anything for our supper because dinner is already provided. Take a look at the pic below and tell me what you think? By the way, I am actually excited to get my own smoker pretty soon. I know it would be really perfect for summer cookouts.

San Francisco Wedding Caterer

The last time I had a big event, I decided to make all of the food myself, and I have to say that it was very exhaustive. By the time the food was prepared and the party was beginning, I just wanted to go home and rest. After this happened I told myself that one of these days I am going to have my food catered so that I don’t have to worry about working so long in the kitchen, I can just go to the event and enjoy the food with my guests. If you have had the same situation that I have had, why not look into having your next great event catered?

One of the catering services that I found looked really amazing is called Taste Catering and Event Planning which is located in San Francisco, California. Taste is really amazing because they are the best when it comes to having a Wedding caterer, or for a variety of other events such as corporate meetings, private meetings, and much more. Not only does their food look tasty, it really looks amazing as well. One of the many dishes that appear to be the most appealing to me is the Wok Seared Beef which is marinated with star anise, just by reading the description; I can tell that this is one delicious dish. They also have desserts, of these; I found that the Tres Leches Cake with shaved Pineapple and tropical fruits sounds the most delicious to me since I have eaten Tres Leches Cake before. In any case, I feel that if you want to have good food that looks great as well, why not have your food catered? And if you are looking for San Francisco wedding caterers or other caterers in the San Francisco area, Taste Catering and Event Planning is definitely one of the best places you can go to, you will definitely be glad that you checked them out.

Christmas Dish 2013

I was working on Christmas Eve at my place of work until 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I was worried sick because I thought I won't be able to make food for our Christmas Eve dinner. Thankfully, I was able to do it after resting about an hour or so after I arrived from home and decided to make 3 types of Filipino dish that my husband had requested for me to make. The three dishes that I cooked were Pinoy Style Spaghetti, Bake Stuff Pompano Fish and Special Chicken Caldereta. Take a look at the photos below and I will be posting the recipe later on.

What have you cook for your Christmas dinner? I would love to hear it from you!

Pork Ginagmay/Baboy Ginagmay

My mom and my grandmother has always been my greatest inspiration when it comes to cooking some delicious traditional food from the Philippines. I grew up watching them prepare food everyday in our kitchen as well as trying out new recipes for the entire family. So today, I decided to share with you guys this delicious recipe which can be prepared in various ways. Below, is my take on this recipe called Pork Ginagmay which are served pretty much in every little restaurants in the Philippines.

Ingredients:

1 lb. pork (stew meat/slice into bite size)
2 large potatoes (slice into cubes)
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup of green peas
1 tbsp. asuete (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 small onion
cooking oil
1 large bell pepper (green,red,orange)

Steps:

1. Saute the garlic and onions. Add the meat, saute until the pinkish color is gone. Simmer the meat for a minute or two.

2. Add the asuete (food coloring) and stir, add soy sauce and simmer for another five minutes.

3. Add 1 cup of water and simmer until the meat becomes tender. When the meat is tender, you can finally add the carrots and potatoes and simmer for another 3 minutes or so.

4. Lastly, add the green peas and bell pepper. Simmer until it is done. Serve hot with steam rice. Enjoy folks!

Visit Treasure Force Today!

Right now, one of the most entertaining things to do with your free time is to play games online. Of course with so many gaming websites to go to, it is nice to find out which websites are right for. Well fortunately, there is a website that will help you find out which sites are best. Many of these websites are known as カジノオンライン in Japanese or simply “online casinos” in English. Despite the fact that many of them are in Japanese, they have links to other great online casino websites such as Treasure Force dot com that are your gateway to everything concerning online casinos and games. Treasure Force is very interesting because they use a great deal of Japanese Anime in their advertising, which I think kind of helps when navigating this website for people who might not be fluent in Japanese. In any case, Treasure Force is really a great website to go to in order to look for online casino games that you are sure to love, so why not check out this great website today, you will be glad you did.

Jollibee Oh How I Miss You!

One of the many things I miss about being in the Philippines is not able to dine out at one of my favorite fast food place called Jollibee. I am craving for some Chicken Joy and Jollibee Spaghetti. I would rather have this delicious food in my table if I was ask to choose between McDonald and Jollibee. Also, going to the Jollibee reminded me of those great memories I have with my family as well as bringing my younger siblings every pay period. As a matter of fact, when my then boyfriend and now my husband visited me in the Philippines for the first time in 2004 we went to Jollibee for our first date. Overall, Jollibee became a huge part in our everyday life in the Philippines.

Hotel Supplies!

Operating a hotel or motel chain is a great business in this day in age because there is always a need for hotels or motels. This is especially true if you live in a large city or a city that draws in lots of tourists. Often times it can even be difficult to get a hotel when traveling to a large city, I know that from experience when my husband and I have had to struggle to find a decent place to stay while out of town. One of the things that tourists look for in a hotel or motel is a good price, but also comfort and safety are equally important and many people are willing to spend a little more for comfort and safety, I know I do. So finding supplies is very important so that your guests will feel comfortable, and fortunately you can actually find any Hotel Supply Online. The types of hotel supplies include hairdryers, furniture and even Hotel Bar Supplies. There is one place that has Atlanta Hotel Supply that sells great items in the wonderful city of Atlanta, this place is called Peach Suite, and even if you don’t live in Atlanta you can have them ship their supplies to you, wherever you live. So go check out their website today, you will definitely find a great deal!
