Chocolates Are Perfect for Valentine’s Day

Although today is Valentine’s Day, did you know that one of the best things you can do for any occasions is to send chocolates to a loved one? Well it turns out that sending chocolate is a great gift idea because let’s face, who doesn’t like chocolate? Right now one of the best places to go to in order to purchase boxed chocolates is at Serenata Chocolates dot com because they have a huge assortment of chocolates that your loved ones will enjoy.  It is best to keep in mind that it is not just the chocolates that people love so much, but also the boxes that it comes in. My husband had given me a box of chocolate years ago and I really loved them, but they came in a red heart shaped box that was made of velvet, and I have to say that it looks amazing and as of now, I still have it with me. If you would like more information on chocolate I highly recommend checking out a website about chocolate such as http://www.chocolate.org because they have quite a bit of information on chocolate.

Holiday Theme Donuts

I don't normally crave for donuts at times but for some reason today was a different story. One of my friends from work brought some Krispy Kreme donuts earlier today and I end up eating three pieces of donuts while I was at my place of work today. I was actually surprised because I really enjoyed eating them. Check out these delicious looking donuts below!

Donuts

My honey purchases some Krispy Kreme Donuts last night and I had a blast this morning because I paired it with hot milk. I was really surprised that he brought some donuts since I know that it is not his favorite. Anyways, here is a picture of what I had this morning!

Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients:

6 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

2 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

1. Melt chocolate in top of double boiler set over simmering water. Stir until smooth, remove from heat and cool until lukewarm. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place cupcake liners in two 12-cup muffin tins and one 6-cup muffin tin.

2. Stir flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl until well mixed. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy and smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in chocolate. On low speed, beat in 1/3 of dry ingredients, then half of milk. Repeat, ending with last third of dry ingredients. Do not overmix.

3. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full and bake until a toothpick inserted in center of a cupcake comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool in pan on wire racks for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely on racks.
