I finally made my first ever homemade longganisa (Filipino cured pork sausage) about a week ago. I could not be more happier because my first attempt was a success. I was able to make 2 dozens of cured pork sausage which we consumed within two days. I had follow a simple recipe which I got from my mother who is a great mentor to me when it comes to cooking. Take a long at the simple ingredients below.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground pork
1/4 cup brown sugar
2-4 tbsp Worcester sauce.
3 tbsp soy sauce
salt and pepper
1 tbsp mince garlic
1 tbsp mince onion
carrots (optional)
wax paper (cut into 4.5 inches x 3 inches)
Procedure:
1. Mix all ingredients and marinate for at least 3 hours.
2. Roll a small amount of the mixture in a wax paper
3. Place the rolled Filipino sausage in the freezer for 3 hours or until ready to cook
4. When you are ready to cook, heat oil in a frying pan or wok
5. Unwrap the sausage and fry in batches in hot oil until meat turns golden brown
6. Place it on a paper towel to drain any excess oil
7. Serve with rice and vinegar-garlic dip sauce
Happy cooking folks!
Take note:
These sausage can be frozen until needed

Home Cooked Meals Are the Best!
I've been trying to prepare homemade meals at least three to four times a week despite my busy schedule at work. My husband truly appreciates when I make time to cook for both of us. Plus, dining out is expensive if we do it every day. Anyway, these past few weeks, I had cooked dishes such as Orange Chicken, Chicken Bicol Express, Noodles with chicken and Pork Adobo and so forth. Check out some of those recipes I've prepared so far!

Corked the Party Games
For a lot of people ages 20 to early 40’s having a fun get
together with friends is really something great. There are times however when
these events can be a little boring if there are not any activities planned for
the guests. Fortunately there is a great new game called Corked, that is
sure to make every get together really amazing. I think that the neatest thing
about Corked Games is that it actually comes in a wine bag and is easy to
transport and of course it can actually hold a bottle of wine as well. Some of
the unique features are that every player is able to play on every turn. It is
also easy enough to learn how play within minutes. Also it is made so that no
one ever performs alone, and best of all the scoring system ensures that a
different player will win every time. I think that this is a great idea,
especially for adults who have parties and are unsure of what activities to
plan. If you would like to see what all the fun is about, check out Corked Games dot com today, you and
your guests will definitely enjoy all of the fun that is to be offered!
Pork Adobo and Lumpia
It makes me happy when my husband appreciates all the things that I do for him. For instance, he requested me to cook some Filipino food namely Adobo and Lumpia (Egg rolls) two days ago. Since he requested since Saturday I told him to buy me the ingredients and I will do the rest.
Anyway, I made the egg rolls as well the pork chop adobo. He was so happy when he came home and I took a couple of pictures below. Check out what I've made for my spouse. He sure is one happy husband!

Lechon Manok on the Menu
I am planning to cook some homemade Lechon Manok (Roasted Chicken) this coming week for my husband. He has been asking me to make the lechon manok I had made for him before because he really love the taste of it. It is actually my version of my Uncle Joe's famous lechon manok back in my home country of Philippines. Check out these delicious lechon manok photo below courtesy of Sr. Jose's Lechon Manok.

San Francisco Wedding Caterer
The last time I had a big event, I decided to make all of
the food myself, and I have to say that it was very exhaustive. By the time the
food was prepared and the party was beginning, I just wanted to go home and
rest. After this happened I told myself that one of these days I am going to
have my food catered so that I don’t have to worry about working so long in the
kitchen, I can just go to the event and enjoy the food with my guests. If you
have had the same situation that I have had, why not look into having your next
great event catered?
One of the catering services that I found looked really
amazing is called Taste Catering and Event Planning which is located in San
Francisco, California. Taste is
really amazing because they are the best when it comes to having a Wedding caterer, or for a variety of
other events such as corporate meetings, private meetings, and much more. Not
only does their food look tasty, it really looks amazing as well. One of the
many dishes that appear to be the most appealing to me is the Wok Seared Beef
which is marinated with star anise, just by reading the description; I can tell
that this is one delicious dish. They also have desserts, of these; I found
that the Tres Leches Cake with shaved Pineapple and tropical fruits sounds the
most delicious to me since I have eaten Tres Leches Cake before. In any case, I
feel that if you want to have good food that looks great as well, why not have
your food catered? And if you are looking for San Francisco wedding caterers
or other caterers in the San Francisco area, Taste Catering and Event Planning is definitely one of the best
places you can go to, you will definitely be glad that you checked them out.
